In force as of 2 November 2026

Contact us: hello@mercihandy.com or WhatsApp at +33 7 57 81 10 31 (written messages only), Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (Paris time).

2. Scope

These terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms”) apply to any order placed on the Website by a consumer. The applicable version is the one online when the order is placed. By confirming your order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted them.

3. Products

The essential characteristics of each product (ingredients, size, directions for use, precautions) are shown on its product page. Products are offered while stocks last. Photos are for illustration only.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes, excluding delivery costs. Delivery costs are shown before you confirm your order. The applicable price is the one displayed when the order is placed.

5. Orders

You can order with or without a customer account. Your account is created with your email address and you sign in with a code sent by email. You choose your products, check the summary (products, prices, delivery, total) and then confirm your payment. A confirmation email summarising your order is then sent to you. Merci Handy may refuse an order in the event of an unresolved prior dispute or suspected fraud.

6. Payment

Payment is due when you place your order, by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay or Shop Pay. Payments are processed by secure providers: Merci Handy never has access to your card details.

7. Delivery

The applicable delivery costs are those shown at checkout. Currently:

A shipping email with your tracking number is sent to you. Products are delivered no later than 30 days after the order; failing that, you may cancel the sale under articles L.216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. Any customs duties or import taxes outside the European Union are payable by the recipient. If your parcel arrives damaged or incomplete, contact us as soon as possible with photos.

8. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to withdraw, without giving any reason (article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

To do so, you can fill in the online form on our Right of withdrawal page, use the model form in the appendix, or send any unambiguous statement to hello@mercihandy.com.

You must then send the products back no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision, to: Merci Handy, 25 rue du Château Landon, 75010 Paris, France. Return costs are at your expense.

We refund all payments received, including the initial delivery costs (based on the cheapest standard delivery option), no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision, using the same payment method as for your order. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products or until you have provided proof that you have sent them back.

Exceptions (article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code): the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery (opened or used products). You may be liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.

9. Legal guarantees

All our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to claim under the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only needs to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not when it appeared.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.

The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund against return of the goods, if: the seller refuses to repair or replace the goods; the repair or replacement takes place after thirty days; the repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer; or the lack of conformity persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to remedy it. The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies immediate price reduction or termination. The sale cannot be terminated if the lack of conformity is minor.

Any period during which the goods are immobilised to bring them into conformity suspends the remaining guarantee period until the goods are returned in working order.

These rights result from articles L.217-1 to L.217-32 of the French Consumer Code. A seller who obstructs in bad faith the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L.241-5 of the French Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund against return of the goods.

For any guarantee claim: hello@mercihandy.com, with your order number and photos. Return costs for a non-conforming product are at our expense.

10. Customer reviews

Reviews published on the Website are posted by customers, with no compensation. They are published within 48 business hours and kept for as long as the product is on sale. Offensive or off-topic reviews, or reviews containing personal data, are not published.

11. Personal data

The data collected when you order is processed by Tradeparency SAS to manage your order and our customer relationship. Details of the processing and your rights are set out in our Privacy policy. Contact: hello@mercihandy.com.

12. Intellectual property

The Merci Handy brand, logos, texts, photos and visuals on the Website are protected. Any reproduction without prior written permission is prohibited.

13. Mediation and disputes

If you have a problem, please contact our customer service first at hello@mercihandy.com. In accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you may then use a consumer mediator free of charge. Merci Handy is finalising its membership of an approved mediator: its contact details will be shown here and are available on request.

These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes will be brought before the competent courts under ordinary law. As a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
